Rainy Milo

Born and raised in South East London, of Guyanese and British decent, Rainy Milo came onto the local music scene with a conviction and presence not to be ignored. 17-year-old Milo placed a song she wrote on the back of a London bus, ‘Bout You, up on Youtube. Within three months it had had over 50,000 views.

2013 saw things heat up for Rainy. Gilles Peterson snapped up ‘Bout You’ for his Brownswood Bubblers 8 compilation and the MOBO awards crowned Milo as One To Watch in 2013.  Keen to keep tight artistic control, she set up her own label LIMEY and released her debut album 'Things Thing of Ours' to much press acclaim, featuring on the cover of Blues & Soul and across all music press whilst looking beautiful in shoots for Hunger and Vogue.  Rainy is currently touring America.

Her debut album 'This Thing of Ours' was released March 3rd 2014
